'Cultured' & Cute Saturday

Hey guys! Just a post on the happenings of my Saturday. It was a very cute and lovely one for me and I hope it was for you too. I did vlog the day but I have been far to busy to edit any of it yet, so hopefully it won't be too long till it's up. It is currently ten o'clock on Sunday evening and I still have a theatre studies essay to do. My eyes are extremely heavy and if I stop laughing at this situation I'm definitely going to cry. However, I really want to get this post up (I know, dedication) so sorry if any of my teachers are reading this (fingers crossed they aren't). Anyway, onwards with the post my chums (snaps for you if you understood that reference).

On Saturday morning after personal training I met up with my friend Amber. We decided to meet at the Tate to go to an event called Pendulum that was happening there. Being the idiots we are we both assumed it was on at the Tate Modern. Oh how wrong we were. Luckily the Tate Britain isn't too difficult to get to from the Tate Modern. So after getting a Starbucks and laughing (a lot) at how ridiculously stupid we are we were Pendulum bound.

We had no idea what to expect but we went in open minded. It was pretty busy and you could really tell the effort the Tate had put in to attract a younger audience. The little sections that were part of the Pendulum event were very cute however my favourite part of the gallery was a dark room that had a photo reel of some really lovely photos showing (this was not part of the Pendulum event). Amber and I sat in this room for ages listening to the soothing click of the projector as the pictures changed.

After going separate ways with Amber I met up with my friends Alex, Amelia and Tara. We had a really lovely girlie evening involving chocolate and chat.

Bastille cover We Can't Stop

I absolutely love BBC live lounge. Particularly the covers. I especially love Examples Tick Tock cover. Recently Bastille covered Miley Cyrus' We Can't Stop and I actually really like it. You can't deny that the original version of We Can't Stop is extremely catchy but you also can't deny that is is extremely annoying. Anyway, I'm going to stop rambling about Miley Cyrus and just insert the link for Bastille's cover -

Let me know what you think.

Weekend Recap - Brick Lane & Pineapple

Hey guys!

It is currently Sunday night. I'm in bed feeling very relaxed after a lovely bath, and I thought I might as well do a post reflecting and recapping my weekend. So here we go.

After personal training on Saturday morning I headed to Brick Lane with my friends Tara and Alex. As it was fairly early on Saturday it was pretty quiet in Spitalfields Market and on Brick Lane, particularly compared to the busy Sunday bustle that I'm use to. After a lovely early lunch in Giraffe (I was sooo hungry) we browsed the market. We all tried a taster for a brownie and it was one of the most beautiful things I have ever tasted, we were all just too full to buy one. We then hit the shops.

When I got home my parents and I had a meeting with a university advisor who specialises in American and UK universities. It was a really interesting and productive meeting as I'm pretty sure I want to go to uni in the US.

I did have plans in the evening but I wasn't feeling too great. So instead of schlapping to god knows where I had a lovely dinner at Wagamama with my family. I then watched Friday Night Dinner, one of my favourite TV shows, in bed.

Wagamama knows

Sunday morning was extremely exciting (not) filled with horrendous homework. But I managed to get most of it done before having to leave to go to Pineapple. Pineapple is a performing arts school that I go to and today was the first day back for the winter term. It was so nice to be back, I really missed it.

This week is going to be extremely hectic. My ballet school term starts tomorrow and I have to go Monday and Wednesday (and sometimes Tuesday) as I have an exam coming up, so I think it's safe to say I'm going to be exhausted pretty much all the time. Anyway trying to stay positive. Something exciting about this week though is that tomorrow I had a school trip for half the day to the Houses of Parliament. I'm really looking forward to it (even though I've been before). Lusm if you're still reading what I'm writing.

Lots of love
