NYC - Chelsea Market & The High Line

I absolutely loved going to the Chelsea Market and the High Line with my friends on this trip. The Chelsea Market is so cute and unique with an incredible selection of food and different small boutique shops; I could have spent hours there.

The sun was shining as we walked along the High Line. It was so nice to take in all the sights and even get a little tan. We then had the rest of the day to go shopping, which of course is never bad.

$85 pumpkin anyone?

NYC - Statue of Liberty & The UN

Seeing the Statue of Liberty was one of the few tourist attractions in New York I'd never done properly; so seeing it so close was really cool. Seeing the New York skyline from the boat was also beautiful. In the afternoon we visited the UN which is also something that I'd never done before in New York. The tour was so so interesting particularly because I'm doing Politics A-level.

NYC

This half term the Economics and Politics students in the sixth form at my school took a three day trip to New York City. The trip was so fun; filled with some educational excursions however mostly fun tourist stuff and shopping. My next couple of posts will be based on what occurred on the trip. So... Enjoy!

Summer Diaries - Pembrokeshire, Wales 2013

WARNING: A lot of pretty pictures of the beach. If not interested to do not read on.

Every year my family and our very good family friends go on a trip to Pembrokeshire in Wales together. As my mum always says: going to Pembrokeshire is like going back in time. The beautiful landscape is completely untouched and breathtaking.

I looking forward to going to Pembrokeshire so much every summer. It's so different to any other holiday my family takes throughout the year. Our family friends have a beautiful dog, Roscoe, so for one thing I get the joy of having a lovely dog for a week. We spend days on stunning beaches in the unpredictable weather and go on walks, which I can usually only get through with Roscoe pulling me along. Here's a video I made of the trip -
